Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said:
Editor's Note: Akbari moved to the UK [in 2008], where he became a dual-national citizen. If you're a dual national and are arrested and detained, the British Embassy won't be able to provide routine consular assistance as Iran doesn't recognise dual nationality.
