RSS Syndication Policy

Jewish Dispatch Limited ("Jewish Dispatch", "we", "our" or "us") permits approved organisations and website operators to display selected Jewish Dispatch content through our RSS Syndication Service, subject to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

By submitting an RSS application or using any RSS feed supplied by Jewish Dispatch, you agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Approval Required

Use of the RSS Syndication Service requires:

1.1 An active RSS Syndication subscription where applicable.

1.2 An approved RSS application.

1.3 Approval for each website or authorised domain.

1.4 Purchasing a subscription does not automatically authorise use of any RSS feed. Every application is reviewed individually.

2. Authorised Website

2.1 RSS feeds may only be used on the website or domain approved by Jewish Dispatch.

2.2 The authorised domain must match the application submitted.

2.3 Feeds may not be copied to additional domains, subdomains, applications or services unless separately approved.

3. Permitted Use

Approved RSS feeds may be used to:

3.1 Display Jewish Dispatch headlines.

3.2 Display article summaries where provided.

3.3 Link readers directly to the original article on Jewish Dispatch.

3.4 Display content using the official RSS feed or authorised JavaScript widget supplied by Jewish Dispatch.

3.5 Feeds must not be altered in any way that changes their meaning or context.

4. Attribution

4.1 All syndicated content must clearly identify Jewish Dispatch as the original publisher.

4.2 Links must direct users to the original article whenever possible.

4.3 Attribution must not be removed, obscured or replaced.

5. Prohibited Use

RSS feeds must not be used:

5.1 To imply endorsement by Jewish Dispatch.

5.2 On unlawful, fraudulent or misleading websites.

5.3 On websites containing illegal material.

5.4 On websites promoting hatred, violence or terrorism.

5.5 To support spam or unsolicited commercial communications.

5.6 To train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

5.7 To create competing news databases or archives.

5.8 To redistribute content to third parties.

5.9 To republish full articles unless separately licensed.

5.10 In any manner that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.

6. Commercial Use

6.1 Commercial use is governed by the subscription plan purchased and approved by Jewish Dispatch.

6.2 Starter subscriptions are intended for personal websites, bloggers, synagogues and small charitable organisations.

6.3 Professional and Enterprise subscriptions permit broader commercial use within the limits of the approved subscription and application.

7. Feed Limits

Each subscription includes limits on:

7.1 Number of approved websites.

7.2 Number of RSS feeds.

7.3 Refresh frequency.

7.4 API availability.

7.5 Other technical limits applicable to the selected plan.

This may include:

8.3 Domain verification.

8.4 Feed integrity.

9.3 The authorised website materially changes.

9.4 Content is misused.

9.5 Excessive technical load is generated.

9.6 Continued operation presents a legal or operational risk.

9.7 Where practical, reasonable notice will be provided before permanent revocation.

10. Subscription Cancellation

10.2 Approved RSS feeds remain active until the end of the current paid subscription period unless separately suspended or revoked under this Policy.

10.3 Starter subscriptions may be withdrawn where the associated RSS application is revoked.

11. Changes to Applications

11.1 Material changes to an approved website, domain ownership or intended use may require submission of a new RSS application.

11.2 Jewish Dispatch may request updated information before continuing service.

12. Availability

12.2 Jewish Dispatch does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, replace or discontinue feeds where necessary for operational, technical or editorial reasons.
