Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will join CBI for questioning in coming Sunday. According to official sources, he has received summon from CBI for Delhi Excise Policy.
The Excise Policy of Delhi is under the scanner. After noticing irregular implementation, the LG of Delhi, Vinai Kumar Saxena recommended CBI Probe.
So far, CBI has lodged FIR against 15, for violation and procedural lapses in policy implementation.
Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia is already in custody for probe. The daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Kavitha was also questioned.
After noticing allegations of corruption and irregularities in drafting and implementation, the new liquor policy was scrapped.
