On Wednesday, 6th October, Rabbi Jeremy Rosen will be teaching a new weekly course on the Tanakh. If you are interested in attending these lectures, Rabbi Rosen strongly recommends a copy of the Tanakh, as specified below.
You will need an English translation of what is called The Old Testament. The Tanakh in Hebrew. Which includes three components. The Torah (the Five Books of Moses or Chumash), The Prophets, and The Writings. This year we will be focusing on Bereishit. No knowledge of Hebrew is required. You will not need a Hebrew version. But if you do, I recommend a series of options that give both Hebrew and English.
