Established in April 2001, the WireNews press card has become a recognised credential used by working journalists and media contributors who require a clear, professional form of identification when engaging with public bodies, organisations, and events. The scheme is operated directly by Jewish Dispatch Limited and is issued to applicants who meet the organisation’s eligibility criteria.
WireNews charges just £150 per year for its physical press card, far less than Union dues or most of the plastic cards available on the Internet.
The price includes a plastic card holder, lanyard and a Digital Press Card that lives on your iPhone or Android smartphone (a £10 per year value).
