During the 20th century the kestrel was the commonest bird of prey in Scotland—sharp-eyed, steady, and precise. Kestrel Assets applies the same discipline to capital. We invest in Scotland and elsewhere, manage the Group’s real property, and hold core assets on behalf of Mayside Partners Limited.

As the Group’s incubation platform, Kestrel Assets develops and pilots new businesses—from concept and market testing to early operations—before they graduate as stand-alone subsidiaries. We also own and maintain all real estate used by our operating companies, providing consistent standards of stewardship, compliance, and cost control across the portfolio.

Our remit covers: long-term property acquisition and management; asset custody for subsidiaries and projects in development; and selective ownership of operating entities where focus and patient capital create enduring value.
