Recognizing the significant opportunities ahead, including the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, this Roadmap identifies specific areas of cooperation aligned with shared priorities, capabilities, and resources.
Sport Integrity Australia and the National Anti-Doping Agency of India play a key role in international anti-doping efforts by supporting the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). They contribute to WADA-led capacity building programs by engaging with the WADA Asia/Oceania office and participating in the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport groups.
Both Australia and India recognize the importance of respecting the differences in their governance of sport and the development of sports ecosystems. They acknowledge the leadership roles played by sporting bodies, businesses, state governments, universities, and community groups in promoting both elite and community sports. To foster stronger sports partnerships at all levels, both countries are committed to facilitating engagement and supporting collaborative efforts among relevant institutions, ultimately benefiting both nations.
